款识：孟广慧。 钤印：臣慧（白）定生（朱） 孟广慧（1868-1941），自幼受文道礼学的教化，在其父、津门饱学之士孟继尊的训教下，四岁咏诵诗词，五岁练习书法，八岁已能挥笔书写榜书大字。十一岁时，他临写的何绍基碑帖，惟妙惟肖，几能乱真。孟广慧在近代书法界的地位和贡献，得到了世人首肯，在文化界亦堪称翘楚。
