A Chinese cloisonné enamel and gilt bronze cover, late Ming/early Qing, 17th century, decorated in coloured enamels to the exterior and and underside with flower heads scrolling tendrils and leaves on a blue ground, the exterior ormolu band cast and chased with confronting dragons chasing flaming pearls and surmounted by a Buddhist lion finial, the underside with engraved four character mark, 11.5 cm high, 13.5 cm diameter. Provenance - Old Scandinavian collection.
