The panel is formed from two boards in horizontal alignment. The panel is in a good condition and in plane. There is old fill and retouching along the join which has become pale with age. There are localised areas of raised and flaking paint, mainly along the join. The paint layers are thinly applied and have suffered from some wear and abrasion. Areas of overpaint are present around some of the figures. The varnish is yellowed and dull.
