Early 19th-century mahogany secretary bookcase, top section dentil cornice, two doors with oval astragal supporting hand drawn glass, lower section with secretaire drawer, fitted interior, all above three graduated long drawers with bracket feet. Width 109cm (43”), depth 58cm (23”), height 234cm (92”) Condition report: Upper section all glass panels showing no signs of cracks, three adjustable sliding shelves with later pink washed silk-covered backboard, lower section small portion of beading to top missing (see photograph), interior of secretaire drawer with replacement leather writing surface, later replacement brass drawers handles.
