Late 19th-century mahogany extending dining table, the oval top with two leaves, carved gadrooning to edge, all standing on four cabriole legs with ball-and-claw feet. Also, a part set of Chippendale style mahogany framed dining chairs, comprising six singles and one matching carver, pierced splat backs, white leather cupboard, upholstered drop-in seats, cabriole foreleg supports with ball-and-claw feet. dining table length 241cm (95"), 127cm (47"), height 75cm (29") Condition report: Overall good condition, leather to seats showing slight signs of wear mensurate with age, later made winding handle for dining table. The winding mechanism on the table is broken (photographed) meaning that it cannot close completely unless the gap is filled with a spare leaf.
