Matthew Mezzanotte (1922-2014) was a naval aviator in WWII, afterward he became a a concert violinist playing at Constitution Hall, Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl and The White House. He then became a prominent developer in the DC metro region. Lot consists of: Purple Heart case, pin and small medal, Mezzanotte's sterling WWII id bracelet, two sets of GF naval aviator wings, sterling V-5 naval aviator wings and a sterling and enamel catholic air, land and sea medallion. In various sizes. Purple Heart case Dimensions: 6 1/2 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide X 1 1/8 inches deep; 16.51 cm tall X 8.89 cm wide X 2.85 cm deep. All measurements are approximate.
