Standing on a broad,low foot and rising to a swelling body and wide octagonal shoulders,narrowing to a short neck terminating in a slightly thickened mouth rim,painted around the exterior in a vibrant cobalt blue with four skilfully paintings of chinese figures, the neck with a classic mid-14th century wave band,the shoulder a peony scroll,and the base a petal band.
