清 黃花梨隨形筆筒 Qing Dynasty period. of cylindrical form with naturalistically gnarled and whorled exterior suggestive of grottos and rivers, the surface comprising grooves, circular pools and diamond-shaped knots, the chestnut-brown wood of rich patina with darker striations, the flat base a circular hole. 筆筒取整段黃花梨挖制，材壁寬厚，木質堅密細膩，木紋自然揮灑，縱意流暢。整器取意自然形態以及天工造化，此等製法正是契合了文人思想，雖陳於書齋之用，但可憑想千里之外，獲取萬物之本靈，渾然天成。整器包漿濃郁，入手沉掂，當時文房案頭妙置。
