A Pair of Sèvres Style Parcel-Gilt and Enameled Covered Vases Signed J. Bailly, late 19th/early 20th century With twin female mask handles, one painted with a lady on horseback and a gentleman on the other, further painted to show a wooded landscape with gatehouse and tower beyond, blue underglaze mark to underside. (H: 18 3/4, W: 8 1/2 in.) Provenance Collection of Robert & Barbara Safford, Vaux Hill, Audubon, Pennsylvania. Freeman’s, Philadelphia, September 25, 2013, lot 137.
