A Pair of French Gilt-Bronze Mounted Cut-Glass Urns 19th century The polished and etched amber glass urns mounted with twin scroll handles, on gilt bases with egg and dart border above a cylindrical glass pedestal raised on square plinth with scroll feet. (2). (H: 19 1/4, W: 9 1/2, D: 9 1/2 in.) Provenance Collection of Robert & Barbara Safford, Vaux Hill, Audubon, Pennsylvania. Freeman’s, Philadelphia, September 25, 2013, lot 147. Acquired directly from the above sale. Private Collection, Long Island, New York. Condition report: One vase with spot of vertigris to top of bronze foot; the other with several spots to foot and base. Light scratches and wear commensurate with age and use.
