Two Framed Carved Alabaster Reliefs Probably Flemish, 16th/17th century Depicting the Annunciation and a Biblical scene, both with traces of gilding; presented in a giltwood frame. (2). (H: 5, W: 4 in. (sight, larger); H: 9, W: 7 3/4 in. (frame)) Provenance Property from the Collection of Dr. and Mrs. Giraud V. and Carolyn Foster. Condition report: Cracks to alabaster, some general rubbing and wear, as expected with age. Traces of gilt to alabaster. Some cracks and gilt loss to frames. The frame backboards with splitting and warping.
