A Pair of Venetian Colored Glass Twenty-Four Light Bronze Chandeliers 20th century The large corona supporting an upper tier of twelve arms and a lower tier of twelve larger arms, all hung with various fruit-form drops and cut glass lusters. (H: 27, W:40 in. (approx.)) Provenance Collection of Robert & Barbara Safford, Vaux Hill, Audubon, Pennsylvania. Freeman’s, Philadelphia, September 25, 2013, lot 27. Acquired directly from the above sale. Private Collection, Long Island, New York. Condition report: Very good overall, light surface wear from age and prior installation; several arms bent upward and out of position; minor variations between the chandeliers (most notably the inclusion of spiked metal bobeche rings with additional prisms on one chandelier); both wired but untested.
