Provenance: Collected in Hong Kong between 1952-1983, two jades possibly gifted from Colonel Valentine Burkhardt, and thence by descent. Literature: The green jade chilong archaistic pendant and the mottled goose group are illustrated in V.R. Burkhardt, Chinese Creeds and Customs: Volume II, Hong Kong 1972, fig. 4 & 7.
