Dimensions: Weight: 1550g, Height: 27 cm, Diam.: 13 cm Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Blue Dragon Peking Glass Carved Vase. The Peking glass shaped into a large vase, thick and tall potted, wide body on shoulder, slender neck easing to form narrow opening, with emerging slight flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. All reserved in Blue and White glaze. The body carved with snarling huge imperial five claws dragon careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves in a carving beneath the attractive egg-yolk-yellow. The design is well-proportioned, the clay fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous.
