PROVENANCE: From collections of Victor J. Drack Jr. (1934-2019) of Kinnelon, St. Augustine, FL. A telecommunication Engineer, a successful businessman in Northern Florida. In the initial years following his retirement he and his wife traveled extensively around the world to many countries. He put interest in collecting glass art, especially antique Peking glass and his late wife became an avid collector and had added more than 40 pieces. The glass potted in brush holder shape, sturdily in cylindrical straight body, thick potted, deep curvature, round mouth rim, raised on flat round foot base. All reversed in light green fine color, carved with big circle of Ruyi patterns surround the outer surface of the mouth make Taotie beast-face like patterns and twined stripes. It is beautifully made and extremely rare. The Under-base bears a reign mark, carved seal script characters reign mark Made in The Years Daoguang Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
