His entrepreneurial drive continually motivated him to privately invest in real estate ventures and many other businesses. In addition to his impressive business acumen, he was a man of artistic pursuits, collecting antiques, porcelains, oriental rugs, and artwork of many different genres. The plate has a broad wide central interior, flori form mouth lip, thick, large, raised on correspondence footed ring base and slight concave. The dish wall is finely carved in clean white base color which contrast against red fine color, depicted of couple magpie birds hanging on the branch lychee tree, and flowers blossom bouquet surround the plate. Each section mark off and enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. This piece displays a subtle sheen, glazed smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The underside unglazed, revealed the Orange-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
