In addition to his impressive business acumen, he was a man of artistic pursuits, collecting antiques, porcelains, oriental rugs, and artwork of many different genres. Dimensions: Height: 9.8 cm, Diam.: 28.2 cm Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande Blue white & Iron Red Dragon Motif Porcelain Bowls. The bowls has an open mouth, rounded lip rim, thick and large, deep arced body, raised with round foot ring and slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against cobalt blue and Iron red fine color, depicted of Imperial dragon are borne in floating clouds, flame, above Lishui waves. Which attracting unceasingly admiration. The clouds and dragon patterns are vivid and have distinctive characteristics of the time. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines. Made in The Years Xuande Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
