This vase has a Chinese traditional YuHuChun shape vessel, the pear shaped bottle, flaring mouth, a spherical abdomen, and a regular vessel shape. Its patterns on the surface are classic, simple, elegant and pretty. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of Flowers bloom interspersed foliage and circle of Ruyi patterns. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze greyish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.
