Dimensions: Height:79 3/4" Width:29 7/8" 19th C Qing Dynasty Chinese Dragon Silk Kesi, slit tapestry. Finely decorated with metallic threads showing a front facing red dragon beneath the centralized flaming pearl resembled the sun, borne amidst flames clouds over cresting Lishui water and rocky mountains. All reserved against contrast royal-yellow background. The tapestry has a smooth surface and appears exactly the same on the front and back. Wooden framed, matted with royal-blue borders, set behind glass.
