LOT NOTES: Liu Danzhai 刘旦宅 (1931-2011) formerly known as Hun, also known as Xiaosu, later renamed Danzhai, alias Haiyunsheng, was born in Wenzhou, Zhejiang. Since he was a child, he liked painting. In 1941, he held the "Ten-year-old Liu Xiaosu Painting Exhibition" in Wenzhou . After 1949, he painted in Shanghai Great China Book Bureau, Shanghai Education Publishing House, and Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House. After 1985, he served as a professor at Shanghai Normal University. Good at figure painting of Chinese classical works. The stamp painted "The Twelve Golden Hairpins of A Dream of Red Mansions" won the National Stamp Best Award in 1981. In 1985, he won the honorary award of "China Sports Art Exhibition" issued by the Chinese Olympic Committee .
