Dimensions: Height: 7.5 cm, Diam.: 42.8 cm Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Douqing Dragon Motif Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick, large, raised on correspondence footed ring base and slight concave. The interior, exterior plate entirely covered in simple and pure Douqing glaze. Sgraffito with snarling huge imperial five claws dragon careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. All reserved in pale green celadon under glazed ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six seal script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
