A GREEN PAINTED IRON 'ARMADA' CHEST NUREMBURG, 17TH CENTURY Of rectangular form bound with iron strapwork, the hinged top revealing an elaborate lock 51cm high, 93cm wide Condition Report: The paintwork worn to some areas creating a worn patina. The top with some splitting to the metal to the back right corner area; a drilled holes on one boss; the back right corner with some lifting to the metal. The front lacking a section of the top left hinged strap. The lock mechanism in working order, a rip to one strap of metal to the interior lockwork, lacking a stud to hold another small section of metal to the interior lockwork.
