Petal-shaped plate from Song Dynasty in China. The shallow petal-shaped disc rises from the tapered narrow foot to the edge of the eversion barbs. The whole is covered with a thick cyan glaze, with fine golden cracks, and the base is engraved with characters surrounded by six thorn marks. {Width: 6 inches (15.2 cm)}. Old and natural. No damage.
