洪建国 1960年生，福建福州市人。出生于雕刻世家，对寿山石有着浓厚的兴趣。在创作过程中，将玉雕与牙角雕技术融于石雕之中，创造出三雕一体的雕刻风格。因其爱石如命、恋石如痴，遂自号“石痴”。被誉为“香港石雕艺术三杰”之一。
