Note: Li Keran (March 26, 1907-December 5, 1989), formerly known as Li Yongshun, was born in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, an outstanding modern Chinese painter and poet, and a disciple of Qi Baishi. Li Keran liked painting since he was a child, and learned to paint landscapes when he was 13 years old. At the age of 43, he was a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. At the age of 49, he traveled and sketched tens of thousands of miles for transforming landscape painting. At the age of 72, he served as the vice chairman of the Chinese Artists Association and the dean of the Chinese Painting Research Institute. In old age, pen tends to be old and hot. Good at painting landscapes, figures, especially cattle. Representative paintings include "Scenic Scenery of Lijiang", "Ten Thousand Mountains Red All Over", "Jinggang Mountain" and so on. Representative painting collections include "Li Keran Ink Sketch Collection", "Li Keran Chinese Painting Collection", "Li Keran Painting Cow" and so on.
