瓷器中点褐彩装饰由来已久，在汉时就已出现，而晚至宋代，点褐彩装饰发展到顶峰，褐色的点彩在青翠的釉色印衬下显得神采飘逸。点褐彩装饰的品种，在日本极受追捧，被美誉为“飞青瓷”。大阪市立东洋陶瓷美术馆的一件元代飞青玉壶春瓶被日本人定为国宝，并称赞其“釉色之青翠，点彩之节制，造型之优美，堪称无与伦比。”此瓶通体施白釉，点彩装饰。小口，丰肩，束胫，圈足，底足露胎。整器从口至足一道曲线，造型优美典雅。附牛津热释光报告。
