Adams (Chawner & Co.), Old English and thread pattern with engraved Armorial, comprising; twenty-four table spoons, eighteen dessert spoons, twenty-four table forks, eighteen dessert forks, seventeen tea spoons, six egg spoons, five salt ladles, one small ladle, one soup ladle, two gravy spoons, two sauce ladles, 220.6 troy ozs, together with six Victorian silver sauce ladles, Glasgow, 1866, makers mark of JM&S, fiddle pattern engraved with the same Armorial Crest as the canteen but with the addition of banner and motto 'SIC ITUR IN ALTUM', 7.5 troy ozs, total gross weight of silver 228.1 troy ozs.
