A Roman high carat gold garnet intaglio ring, with an oval cabochon garnet intaglio, engraved with a galloping horse. The intaglio Roman set in a landscape position to a court section head with tapered shoulders and shank. Head 5.30mm wide, 2.86g. Finger size E approximately, not round Condition report: Not round. Noticeable scratches and marks. Wear to the garnet under 10x magnification. Wear to the setting edger. Shank worn. Has been sized/ repaired at the base of the shank in the past.
