An early 20th century 18ct gold and platinum, ruby, cultured pearl and diamond brooch, designed as two cats in a basket.Stamped 18. Length 5cms. 20.1gms. Overall condition good. Light marks, wear and discolouration. Appears to be marked 'WUST'. Diamonds are rose-cuts. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Rubies are a well matched medium slightly purplish, pinkish red hue, well saturated, with good clarity and some typical inclusions. Rubies in good condition with minor abrasions.
