品相：良好铜炉底，“玉堂清玩”款。名著《古玩指南》里说到，“玉堂清玩”款相传为严嵩之子严东楼的字号，“玉堂清玩”铜器是严氏之炉。赵汝珍还说到，“严氏之炉皆系劫取宣炉之无款者，充为己有，非其所制。“玉堂清玩”铜器堪比宣德炉较为珍贵。佳形、原皮、意蕴、巧思、精工，如此佳器者，可谓绝妙也。
