Each dish is decorated and gilt with a flower vase to the centre panel, surrounded by seigaha roundels on a ground of flowers and gilt foliate scrolls. The reverse is decorated with birds and flowers. Two of the dishes: 25 cm. wide and 5 cm. high One of the dishes: 22 cm. wide and 5 cm. high Catalogue notes: Compare the present lot with a set of four slightly larger dishes (26 cm. wide) dated to the 18th century in the Bughley House Collections, Stamford, reference no. CER0039.
