此器呈三节瓜棱式，子母口扣合，整体造型规整大方。器身通体髤黑漆，光亮润泽，其上以螺钿镶嵌花卉纹饰，盖顶中心绘主体纹饰为双凤团寿纹，纹饰精美，制作精细，极富雅致气息。整幅画面构图层次分明，布局繁而不乱，构思十分巧妙。整个漆盒纹饰构图大方，简洁明快，和谐统一，镶嵌技艺相当纯熟，是对《髹饰录》螺钿条的形象诠释。黑漆色泽典雅庄重，间配以螺钿装饰，色彩变化多样，绚丽斑斓，于古朴器型之间呈现优雅富贵之态。
