龙袍以红色为地，金色丝线绣龙纹，龙纹间饰蓝色调五彩流云纹，团寿纹及八宝纹。多种绣法相结合，工艺复杂且繁，配色浓艳，对比度大，反差强烈，华美又不失高贵典雅。龙袍下摆斜向排列着许多弯曲的线条，名谓“水脚”。水脚之上，有许多波浪翻滚的水浪，水浪上面立有山石宝物，俗称“海水江崖”，它除了表示绵延不断的吉祥含意之外，还有“一统山河”和“万世升平”的寓意。此件龙袍是清代小皇帝参加庆典时所穿。来源：瑞典拍卖公司拍品。
