AN IMPORTANT BELLE EPOQUE NATURAL PEARL AND DIAMOND SAUTOIR NECKLACE designed as a long articulated foliate pendant set with circular-cut diamonds, centring on a line of natural pearls ranging 6.8-9.9mm, and suspending three drop-shaped natural pearl pendants, the largest of 13.1mm, to a necklace of smaller pearls on chain linking, with navette-shaped clasp set with brilliant-cut diamonds, in a fitted presentation case, pendant 11.5cm, necklace 71.0cm, 31.9g. Accompanied by a gemmological report stating that the twelve pearls in the pendant measuring from 6.84-7.09 x 5.59mm to 9.90-10.60 x 13.10mm are natural, saltwater, the smaller pearls in the necklace untested for natural origin.
