该炉洗口，短颈，腹呈丰满的扁圆形，口肩处竖立两朝天耳，下承三兽足，器身及底部施一层翠青釉。积釉处肥厚翠绿，薄浅处微衬胎骨。釉表多密集小气泡，为永乐时期青釉的主要特征。该类器物为这时期举行盛大宗教、祭祀活动的重要器物。
