Zhang Daqian (1899-1983), formerly known as Zhengquan, later renamed Yan, with the word Jiyan, and the name Daqian, a calligrapher from Neijiang, Sichuan. He is omnipotent in painting, calligraphy, seal cutting, and poetry, combined with painting style, craftsmanship and writing. It is praised as "Oriental Pen". Seal: Zhang Yan's private seal, Daqian. This work uses the far-mountain technique of big splash ink, which is almost abstract, and the lighting of rocks and trees brings the abstract far-mountain back to a realistic and agile level. Turning the roughness of splashing ink into exquisite agility has to surprise the author's genius.
