A Brown Ground Kesi Woven Silk 'Phoenix' Panel 17TH/18TH CENTURY 晚明-清初 緙絲鳳穿牡丹挂屏 neatly woven in a range of warm taupe, pale green, and deep blue toned silk floss threads against the ground of gilt metallic threads to show the phoenix standing in a gated garden under bamboo branches, surrounded by a fanciful outbuilding and crashing waves, mounted in a later blue ground brocade, and framed.
