The light rust field with overall design of various polychrome palmettes, delicate scrolling floral vine and cloudbands. In an indigo border of multicoloured bold palmettes and meandering floral vine between rosette and leafy vine stripes. Outer ribbon and plain stripes, approx: 184cm. x 130cm. Very well drawn design with good colour combination. Apart of very slight wear to the pile at one side edge (small crease line) this rug has full pile and is in very good usable condition. Both ends with original kilim and fringes. Selvages original. Very nice example and elegant piece.
