Qianlong mark, 1800-1860Of tapering baluster shape with flaring neck and short oval foot with narrow foot ring, molded in a continuous scene with the twelve animals of the zodiac on a grassy bank and amidst rockwork and the bare branches of a tree, with one animal the dragon amidst clouds encircling the flaring neck above the rounded shoulders with animal-mask fixed-ring handles, all painted in a black-brown enamel with major touches of gilding and set against a backdrop of turquoise glaze, which also encircles the foot, with a gilt four-character Qianlong seal mark in a line on the base.2 3/4in (7.1cm) high
