Warring States and Song/Jin dynasties, 11th/12th centuryThe first a pair of globular jars impressed with a basket pattern and set off by small imitation handle embellishments; the second a qingbai bowl with a wide well incised with a stylized peony branch; the third a shallow qingbai bowl with plain interior; the fourth a celadon glazed bowl with six subtly raised ribs on the interior walls, the olive green glaze applied to all surfaces except the foot pad; the fifth a flared conical bowl covered in and out with a transparent glaze exposing the thin, white body above the narrow foot ring; the sixth a molded Yaozhou bowl covered with a pale celadon glaze, the interior molded with four swimming carp on a sea of undulating waves surrounding a conch shell in the well. 7 3/4in (20cm) diameter of largest (7).
