款识：同治辛未仲春胡子卿造。|说明：胡子卿，名贞权，生于道光十二年（1832年），是胡开文第二代传人胡余德之孙。同治初年，设肆安徽休宁，起初他也想开胡开文分店，但当时休宁胡开文主人胡贞观（贞权堂哥）坚持家规不允许，才打出胡子卿招牌，另设“奎照斋”经营。从制墨技艺上看，胡子卿风格独特，不落前人窠臼，主要表现为：制墨用料精细考究和墨型款识新颖别致。
