|此笔筒黄花梨为材，敞口，筒腹，口沿及圈足分起细线，筒身光素，浅圈足，并以三足承之。整器材质硕大，打磨细致，包浆温润，纹理变幻，予人雅致之感。黄花梨色泽温润，且木性稳定，不易变形，故而明清两代深得文人之推崇。又因其花纹绚丽华贵，大多采用通体光洁之做法，以突出木材纹理之天然美感，本品既如是。
