|此榻制式沉稳，端庄，取黄柏为材，皮壳温润细腻。四腿取方材垂直于地面，腿根部翻卷马蹄足，凸显内敛霸气，选料不吝，牙板肥厚，殊为难得。王世襄先生「明式家具的品与病」之中的「臃肿」即为大器之病。此张四平榻用材边抹几乎与腿足等宽，但由于整体比例掌握分寸得当，有磊落之态，无臃肿之病，凸显明人崇尚儒家文化道玄之境，简率有力，大巧若拙。不苟且，不弄巧，端庄典雅落落大方。
