Condition is good to very good; lower right corner repair; the work was probably removed from a sketch book with the customary binding holes and horizontal crease, upper edge, not into the image; typed label upper center, verso: “Ilya Chashnik Architecture Suprematiste 1923;” overall presents very well. Chashnik was a Suprematist artist, a pupil of Kazimir Malevich, and a founding member of the UNOVIS school. He died during a botched appendix operation at the age of 27. [30208-1-6000]
