Very good condition overall; minor edge staining recto and verso which would be masked if matted and framed; small areas of foxing verso with only a few very minor fox marks recto; apparently never matted nor framed; no holes, tears, creases, etc.; presents very well. Christie’s work is similar in composition to our example but, although half-length, in our opinion is not as strong and finished as our object; the size is smaller than ours; and is stamp, not pencil, signed).
