Framed. A watercolor painting of two heads with a cow. Signed on top left. Leo (Lior) Roth (1914 - 2002) was an Israeli painter who was born in 1914. Roth's work was influenced by Cubism and bears much in common with the work of compatriot painter Naftali Bezem. His colorful canvases contain biblical imagery and references to early Israeli pioneer culture. The record sold price in auction is USD $6,900 for his work "The Shear", which was sold in 2015.
