Two ecclesiastic gold tone chasubles embroidered in gold and red silk thread with a central column featuring embroidered images of two saints on the front and rear of both pieces. St. Augustine and St. Gregory on front, with St. Basil and St. Athanasius images on the rear of the first vestment. Second vestment features images St. John Chrysostome and St. Gregorius Naz on front with St Ambros and St Jerome images on rear. Both vestments are lined with red silk. Dimensions are: 39 1/2 inches long X 36 inches wide; 100.33 cm long X 91.44 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Beautiful embroidery work on both vestments. Both have wear damage to the fronts. Provenance: From a private California collection.
