Embroidered with bullion thread and silk lined processional umbrella with a white silk base and embroidered grape and wheat designs. Umbrella had a blade catch mechanism when open and fits into a "Z" shaped handle for use by a second person. Umbrella has a cross shaped metal finial. Dimensions are: Umbrella: 29 1/2 inches long X 38 1/2 inches diameter; 74.93 cm long X 97.79 cm diameter. Handle: 51 1/4 inches tall X 3/4 inch diameter; 130.17 cm tall X 1.9 cm diameter. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Patina and wear to finish on metallic parts. A few snags to material in umbrella. Tear to interior silk lining.
