A Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze Buddha 中原或藏传佛教鎏金铜造像 18th century or earlier 十八世纪或更早 Finely-executed, the figure is shown seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus pedestal and holding his right hand in dhyana mudra. The eyes are cast downwards, below a hollow for an inlaid urna and the patchwork robe is incised with lotus and foliate scroll in the borders, unsealed. (H: 5 in.)
