A fine Japanese Cloisonné box 日本珐琅盒子 Late 19th century 十九世纪晚期 Of rectangular shape, enameled with fans, shaped reserves of flowers, and other auspicious symbols, lappet border above the foot, interior of the cover engraved with birds and bamboo, interior of the box engraved with a rooster, underside centered by a white chrysanthemum surrounded by foliages and stylized scrollwork, all raised on bracket feet at corners.
